Samuele Cortese, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, is Associate Professor at the University of Southampton and Honorary Consultant Child Psychiatrist at the Solent NHS Trust. He is also Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of New York, USA. His main clinical and research interests focus on the epidemiology, neurobiology and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders (in particular on ADHD) and on evidence synthesis in child psychiatry. Dr. Cortese is author/co-author of more than 130 papers in international peer-reviewed journals (H-index 43), including high impact journals such as the American Journal of Psychiatry. He is Deputy Editor of the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, ranked #1 in child psychiatry, and sits on the editorial board of 5 other international journals. Dr. Cortese is a member of the European Network for Hyperkinetic Disorder (EUNETHYDIS), the European ADHD Guidelines Group (EAGG), the Child & Adolescent Neuropsychopharmacology Network of the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP), and the child and adolescent faculty of the British Association of Psychopharmacology (BAP).
