José Antonio Bueno Álvarez is Associate Professor of Instructional Psychology at Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). Director of the “Psychology, development and educational intervention (PDIE-697)” investigation team at UCM. Invited Professor at Humanistic Institute of Sinaloa (Mexico), Nexum University (Mexico) Carl Rogers University of Puebla (Mexico), and Public Education Ministry of Ecuador. Has participated in different investigations (locals, nationals, and internationals); addressed several Doctoral Thesis; edited sundry handbooks; and published various articles in national and international journals and reviews. His investigation interests are: academic motivation, self-motivational strategies, self-efficacy, self-regulation.
