Miquel Ángel Serra is a doctor in Biology. He was a scientific researcher of the Joint Research Center of the European Commission (1988-2002) and Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the International University of Catalonia (2002-2005), and since 2005 research manager in the Laboratory of Neuropharmacology from the Department of Experimental Sciences and Health of Pompeu Fabra University where he also collaborates in neuroscience projects. Expert in bioethics of biomedical research. Co-author and coordinator of the books Humans or Posthumans? Technological uniqueness and human improvement (Fragmenta Editorial, 2015), Infinite humanity. Ethical challenges of emerging technologies (EIUNSA, 2016) and Singular. Ethics of emerging technologies in people with functional diversity (EIUNSA, 2016).
