Mª Teresa Anguera is a professor of Behavioral Sciences Methodology at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Barcelona. She has a degree in Psychology with Extraordinary Prize (1972) and in Law (1997) by the University of Barcelona, and a PhD in Psychology (1976) by the same University. She has given courses at all university levels about several methodological subjects. Her main research activity comprises two lines of investigation: Observational Methodology and Program Evaluation Designs. She has participated as PI in more than 20 competitive research projects funded by the Administration (specifically, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, and Government of Catalonia) or mandated by other official institutions. She has also coordinated Integrated Actions with Austria and Germany. In 1994, she set up and started to coordinate the Observational Designs Research Group (subsequently, the Research and Innovation in Designs Group (GRID): Technology, Multimedia and Digital Application to the Observational Designs), awarded as Consolidated Research Group by the Generalitat of Catalunya. She has participated in research evaluation committees, scientific committees and conference organizers, journal writing committees both nationally and internationally. She is now a member of several scientific societies. She has published several works both in Spain and abroad. Apart from other minor works, she held the authorship/co-authorship of 25 books, 96 book chapters, and 220 scientific papers. She has supervised/co-supervised 54 doctoral dissertations. In 1999, she entered as a full member at the Royal Academy of Doctors of Catalonia, and in 2013, at the Royal Academy of Medicine of Catalonia. She has been the president of the Deontological Commission of the College of Psychologists of Catalonia (2006-2010), president of the Spanish Association of Methodology of Behavioral Sciences (AEMCCO) (2007-2011), and vice-secretary of the European Association of Methodology (EAM) (2008-2012). Regarding her management activities, she has been Secretary of the Psychology Faculty (1982-1985), Head of Studies of the Degree in Psychology (1986-1988), Director of the Department of Methodology of Behavioral Sciences (1993-1997), responsible for the Research Section of the ICE of the University of Barcelona (1998-2002), Vice-Rector for Scientific Policy of the University of Barcelona (November 2008 to January 2010), and Vice-Rector for Teaching and Scientific Policy of the University of Barcelona (from January 2010 to December 2012).
