Laura Méndez-Zaballos is a practical professor at the School of Psychology, National University of Distance Education (UNED). She has held several academic administrative positions related to the professional internships, such as General Coordinator of Internships (UNED), and Deputy Dean of the practicum and the professional internships (School of Psychology, UNED). She is especially interested in the design of real and simulated environments where the professional skills might be activated within a situated and ecological framework. From this perspective, she has participated in designing practical courses for different academic grades. She has published several works on applied research and educational innovation for the training and development of professional skills for psychologists. She is a member of the Educational Innovation Group, called “Professional Internships”, UNED.
