Fernando Mulas is a neuropaediatrician and PhD in Medicine and Surgery. He is founder and director of the Valencian Pediatric Neurology Institute (INVANEP) and president of the Valencian Society of Neuropediatrics (SVANP). Currently, he co-directs the Master's Degree in "Infant Development and Early Care" (University of Valencia) and the Online ADHD Master "(Central University of Catalonia), and is a neurologist and neuropaediatric consultant in different specialized centers in the Community of Valencia. He has been organizing and directing the International Update Conferences on Neurodevelopmental Disorders held in Valencia since 1999. During his career, he has held the presidency of different scientific societies of pediatrics and for 35 years he has been head of the Hospital Neuropediatric Service Universitario La Fe, Valencia. He has published more than 150 scientific articles, and he has worked as editor in different books and specialized journals. In 2013, he was awarded with Santiago Ramón y Cajal International Prize, granted by the Iberoamerican Academy of Pediatric Neurology (AINP) to the scientific and professional trajectory in neuropediatrics.
